CNC Process for Control Box of Aluminum Alloy

Control box of aluminum alloy finds its applications in such parts as circuit board, chips, transformer, button, indicator light and buzzer, with a view to keeping other machines under proper operation. The control box, made of aluminum alloy, is strong and durable and has electric shielding function. Many of high-end controllers have adopted such structure.

Die stamping has been adopted when manufactured in mass production while CNC process used when in not mass production. Control box is made through high-speed CNC process. There are totally 20 CNCs in our factory, which helps reach 20 control boxes on a daily basis, ensuring delivery of products in large order of quality and quantity assured on time.

As material is 3.2315 with 380MM*220MM*45MM, the whole part is cut by CNC for finished one. 8 materials for parts are placed, on a large CNC for processing at one time. After the one side being finished, the other side proceeds to be processed. It takes about 10 hours to process a part. The size should be kept within -0.5mm-+0.5mm ensuring proper interchangeability between parts. The box consists of up case and down case, with sizes well maintained and no room left to be deformed, to make airtightness better.

After completion of process, further progress is made in grinding and polishing to remove de-burring on the surface, in blasting sand to remove cuts, in oxidation treatment to make surface more rigid and increase its corrosion resistance. Marks and indicator letters are printed on meshes. Through such processes, a complete and perfect product has been made.
