The Health Store, a UK-based cooperative wholesaler, is recalling some of its food products due to inconsistent information between the ingredients list and allergy advice on the label, according to the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

These products contain milk and/or sulphites, which are not clearly listed on the label. According to the FSA, the products present a possible health risk to anyone with an allergy to or intolerance of milk, or with sensitivity to sulphites.

The products being withdrawn that contain milk are - yogurt coated almonds, hazelnuts, banana chips, brazil nuts, raisins, cashew nuts, ginger, peanuts, banana chips, honeycomb, and Brazil nuts. These products were sold in 125g, 500g or 200g packs.

Trail Mix, 250g, and Just Fruit Muesli, 1kg, are being recalled due to the presence of sulphites. In addition, Yoghurt coated Pineapple, 125g, and Yoghurt coated Apricots, 125g, are being recalled due to the presence of milk and sulphites.

The company will display customer notices in stores explaining the reason behind the recall. It has informed the allergy support organizations of this withdrawal. No other The Health Store products are known to be affected.
